At Holy Cross Preparatory School, your daughter will discover the joyful spark of learning in an environment that challenges and excites. We accept girls from age 3 in our pre-school nursery, Little Sparks, open all year round from 7:30am-6:00pm to accommodate the needs of today’s busy aspirational families.
The academic achievement of Holy Cross girls is consistently outstanding.
Pupils perform well above the national average in CAT4 tests with the majority of our girls being considered exceptional achievers with standardised scores of 127 and above. Our Year 6 girls achieve a reading age of 14 years inspired by a love of books and a thirst for knowledge.
We prepare our girls to perform exceptionally well in 11+ assessments, in a supportive environment that has nurture and well-being at its core.
Our Year 6 girls receive offers from top performing independent and grammar schools including St Pauls, Godolphin and Latymer, Putney High, Wimbledon High, Kingston Grammar, Tiffin Girls and Non-such, ensuring excellent choice for the next stage of their academic journey and education. We are proud that over 50% of our girls receive at least 1 scholarship offer.

We can`t believe our year 6 Upcycle Fashion Show was a week ago!! Our year 6 girls were working hard behind the scenes to put on the incredible show from stitching and cutting to gluing and of course designing their vision💙

In history our year 1 girls have been learning about motte and bailey castles; medieval fortifications featuring a wooden or stone keep on a raised earthwork (motte) overlooking an enclosed, palisaded courtyard (bailey)🏰
Using our engineering skills our girls created their own motte and bailey castles using a variety of materials. We are looking forward to building keep and bailey castles later this term💙
