In history our year 1 girls have been learning about motte and bailey castles; medieval fortifications featuring a wooden or stone keep on a raised earthwork (motte) overlooking an enclosed, palisaded courtyard (bailey)🏰
Using our engineering skills our girls created their own motte and bailey castles using a variety of materials. We are looking forward to building keep and bailey castles later this term💙

The school has a very good environment, excellent facilities and it is run like a big family community. Academically it brings the best of each child. My daughter is over the moon with her new school and we are so happy that we can be part of the Holy Cross community.
