Educational Visits

Our pupils benefit from a wide variety of engaging day trips and workshops, which support each year group’s curriculum and help to consolidate learning. Annual trips include Windsor Castle, RHS Wisley, Winchester Science Museum and Planetarium, Poppy Factory and Bletchley Park.

In addition, years 4, 5 and 6 are given the opportunity to attend overnight residential trips – immersive learning experiences that provide our girls with a wealth of knowledge and lifelong memories.

Ufton Court – During the spring term, our year 4 pupils spend a night away at an educational trust in Berkshire. With its very own Viking long ship, Ufton Court provides the perfect historic setting as our pupils learn all about the famous northern raiders during a series of hands-on workshops, including fire lighting and bow making!

PGL Liddington – A firm favourite, this action-packed adventure during the Easter holiday, encourages our years 5 and 6 pupils to put their teamwork skills into practice during a programme of adrenaline-pumping activities, from kayaking and raft building to climbing and campfires!

Dorset – Each summer term, our year 5s head to sunny Swanage in Dorset, to explore the Jurassic Coast as part of their geography curriculum. Activities include studying chalk formations, visiting World Heritage Sites and enjoying ice creams on the beach!

France – Our annual summer term trip to France’s beautiful Burgundy region, provides our year 6 pupils with the perfect opportunity to practice their language skills in a range of settings, including a visit to the local market and a get-together with their French pen pals. C’est fantastique!
