We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational drama teacher to join our friendly and supportive team.

Holy Cross Preparatory School is an outstanding Catholic prep school with a caring and inclusive ethos. We are located just off Kingston Hill in a beautiful eight-acre site and offer first rate facilities including a performing arts and sports hall, tennis and netball courts, a sports pavilion and all weather pitches.

Our dedicated and committed team, work together to pursue excellence on every level. Our girls not only achieve academic excellence; many excel in sport, music and art while growing as happy, well-rounded, confident, and curious young people. Our teachers are hardworking, highly motivated and fully committed to life in a busy and thriving prep school.

Drama is an integral and enjoyable part of the school curriculum; all pupils have weekly drama lessons with a specialist drama teacher, who cultivates their creativity, imagination, communication and clarity of expression. Pupils in years 2 – 6 have the opportunity to participate in LAMDA examinations and we offer a weekly after-school LAMDA club for pupils in years 4, 5 & 6, and a drama club for year 2 pupils.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a passion for working with young people and will ideally have experience of teaching drama to primary aged children of varying abilities. Candidates should have QTS and hold a degree in drama. Experience of teaching LAMDA qualifications is a distinct advantage.

We value our employees and can offer a competitive salary and benefits package, typically 18 weeks of non-teaching time per year and smaller classes of happy, well-behaved girls who are a pleasure to teach.

If you share our ethos, are passionate about teaching and would like to join our team, please submit an application form to recruitment@holycrossprep.com
