Happy Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day!
Today marks the start of the season of Lent, a time of reflection, repentance and renewal.
Today we indulge in delicious pancakes, and we encourage everyone take a moment to reflect on the meaning of this season of Lent. Traditionally, pancakes were made on this day to use up ingredients that would be given up during the Lenten season.
In celebration of Shrove Tuesday, Holy Cross Prep catering team prepared a special treat at lunch for all our girls. Thank you for the delicious pancakes and all the toppings!
