Welcome back!

6th January 22

A warm welcome back to our families and pupils. We hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas Holiday and that everyone is ready to get their heads down again, raring to go for the Spring Term. We were greeted by a frosty morning where the school fields were dusted with frost and the girls were all wrapped up ready to enjoy some fresh air.

This week we have celebrated The Christian celebration of Epiphany, commonly known as Three Kings’ Day, begins today. In some countries, many families may get together on the 6th of January to give gifts. It’s a significant date in the Christmas story because it’s when people commemorate how a star guided the Three Kings to pay a visit to the new born Jesus after he was born. The Wise Men travelled great distances to meet Jesus Christ to offer presents to him of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
