Farewell… for Now!

3rd July 20

Today marks the end of a very successful year… and a rather unusual term.

Every member of our community has faced new challenges since ‘lockdown’ began back in March, but each new obstacle has provided an opportunity to learn and grow as a team. Our pupils have found new ways to connect with one another; teachers have found innovative ways to lead their lessons; the catering team have gone above and beyond to deliver safe and socially distanced food provisions every single day… what a term!

We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful Holy Cross family, working together and giving 100% in everything they do, from our youngest pupil to our newest colleague. Now that summer has arrived, it’s time for us all to enjoy a well-earned rest. But before we go, we would like to share with you our emotional (and explosive) farewell to our year 6 girls, who enjoyed their very own ‘guard of honour’ (complete with confetti canons!) as they passed through the school gates for the final time.

We wish all of our families a wonderful summer break. Enjoy making memories together – we can’t wait to hear all about your adventures in September!
