What a wonderful time we had at Ufton Court this week!
As part of their history curriculum, our year 4 pupils set out on an adventure to discover more about the Vikings – a fantastic way to bring this fascinating era to life.
From traditional fire lighting, to battle tactics and training, our ‘shield maidens’ enjoyed an action-packed day. They even had the chance to sit in a custom-built ‘longship’, made famous by the seafaring shipbuilders, before tucking into a hearty Viking feast. Delicious!
