As part of their geography curriculum, our year 5 pupils created an engaging online survey on their iPads, before setting out to investigate land use on New Malden’s busy high street.
As well as surveying local shoppers, the girls used trundle wheels to measure shop frontage. They also looked out for any Korean influences, having learned that, historically, the Korean High Commission was based in New Malden in 1970.
An interactive and educational trip out in the community!
