This morning’s innovative assembly was jam-packed with experiments and inventions, courtesy of our enthusiastic STEM Pioneers, who showed us how science, technology, engineering and mathematics have shaped our world over the past century.
From LEGO bricks to the human genome project, the pioneers counted down their ‘top ten’ innovations from the past 100 years, taking us on a fascinating journey from ‘20s to ‘20s.
The audience was then treated to a demonstration of the new Holy Cross ‘WeDo’ robot, which rolled down the middle aisle, delighting pupils and teachers alike!
We can’t wait for the ‘STEMterprise’ fair next month.
