As part of their history curriculum, our year 5s are learning all about the Victorian era. Kent Life Heritage Farm Park offers immersive themed days for school children – there’s no better way to learn than by experiencing it for yourself!
So, dressed in traditional working class costumes, our year 5s headed to Kent to take part in a variety of fascinating workshops about rural Victorian life. They experienced what life was like for people during these times, from the food they ate, to the tasks they had to complete each day. The girls even learned about Victorian education – an eye-opening experience for all!
