‘Year 2 were very lucky to have a visit from Florence Nightingale last week. She took us on a special journey back in time to the Crimean War. We learnt about how Florence changed the way people were treated and how she introduced basic hygiene to the hospitals, saving countless lives as a result.
We had a chance to tie some bandages, create our own soup recipes and clean the laundry. It was a fantastic learning experience!’ – Year 2 teacher
