Following their topic on Remembrance, this week the year 2 girls visited the Poppy Factory in Richmond.
Here they were introduced to their own personal tour guide, who shared some interesting facts with each class as they explored the home of the paper poppy.
Following their tour of the factory, the girls were shown how to make their own poppies and wreath. They even had chance to see the personal poppy wreaths of Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry.
A fascinating day out!
