Sunday Times Prep School of the Year 2013-14

Coffee and Cake

The school organised another incredibly successful Macmillan Coffee Morning which was supported by current and past parents, families, associates, ex-staff and of course our girls and staff in school. The sweet treat donations covered vast swathes of tables thanks to the donations brought in and the coffee and tea was on permanent brew and kept our kitchen team busy. The event would not happen without the long term support of Mrs Shilston and Mrs Crosswell - two retired members of staff - and their dedicated team of helpers who, some with daughters now in their 20s, have long had a happy and fulfilling association with the school. We are proud of our fundraising efforts and hope to reach a good amount this year...we will inform you once we know a final figure.

"Do you take milk with that?"

The last few remaining cakes and biscuits will be on sale at the Pupil Entrance at pick-up this afternoon so if you need a treat for the weekend when granny pops in, do stop by the table. Any plates or tins which held goodies this morning can also be collected there.

Once again an almighty thank you to all involved in making this a truly outstanding event.
