CAFOD Assembly

25th September 19

During this year’s Harvest we will be collecting money for the charity, CAFOD.

A special guest speaker will be coming in to talk to the girls about the wonderful work that CAFOD do, and to inform them of the positive impact their Harvest donations will have on the lives of others.

Feast of the Holy Cross – Wednesday 18th September

This week, we continued to celebrate our ‘Faith Fortnight’, with the staff celebrating a special Mass with all the schools in our local Deanery, whilst the girls enjoyed learning all about their house saints and sharing what they are thankful for as part of our ‘Rainbow of Thanks’ display.

On Wednesday, we celebrated our special Feast Day – our whole school community, including many members of our Advisory Body and Trustees, joined together to share a very special Mass, led by girls from all of the classes across the school.

In class, the girls enjoyed exploring the history of the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the meaning of our school emblem, and had lots of fun creating their very own holy crosses. What a wonderful way to start the new academic year!
