A particularly ‘explosive’ assembly transformed the hall into a science laboratory. Focusing on the process of eating food, our visitor from the home of science, The Royal Institution, explained just how clever our digestive systems are, as well as the energy we get from the food we consume.
With equal parts ‘science demonstration’ and ‘standup comedy’, this hands-on, fun-filled experience was a treat for the whole school. Highlights included setting a cloud of flour on fire… don’t try this at home!
