Liturgy

15th March 19

During this week’s liturgies, we were reminded that God is always caring for us, even when we do not realise it.

On Monday our year 6 Faith Leaders recalled that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, looking after each of us as his sheep. They reminded us to take time to celebrate and give thanks for the service of priests and sisters across the world who follow the example of Jesus, caring and shepherding us through our lives. In particular, we would like to thank Fr Michael, Sr Margaret and Sr Ursula for all they do to help guide us on our faith journey.

On Thursday we were reminded that Jesus said: “I am the light of the world… anyone who follows me will have the light of life.” Jesus lights up our lives and we feel the warmth of his love guiding us on our path through life, and he wants us to follow his way and to shine our lights for all to see. The challenge was set to go and shine brightly in all that we do and the girls certainly did that this week, being true Holy Cross girls and letting their light shine bright for all to see.
