At the end of the summer term, we celebrated our socially distanced pre-prep badge assemblies. Blessed with blue skies and sunshine, we were able to host all three events outside on the top lawn. It was wonderful to celebrate our pupils’ many achievements, especially after such a challenging year.
Unfortunately, a spot of rain meant that our years 3, 4 and 5 prize giving ceremonies were moved inside, with social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe. But the rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we congratulated our junior pupils on a very successful year – we have been so impressed by their enthusiasm and drive this year.
Next came our year 6 prize giving – a special event to celebrate our year 6 girls for the final time. From academic success to sporting prowess, we celebrated the individual achievements of each pupil – the girls were congratulated for their excellence, improvement and enthusiasm across the curriculum.
After both classes received their awards, we headed down to the sports pitch where our fantastic PE team had prepared some fun games and activities. We then tucked into a hearty family BBQ, prepared by our wonderful catering team from Holroyd Howe.
