To kick-start the new academic year, we are celebrating a ‘Faith Fortnight’ across the school, during which the girls will be enjoying a range of activities exploring different elements of their faith and the values of our school.
In class, the girls have been gaining a better understanding of our mission statement and the Holy Cross Way, as well as writing prayers for a range of intentions and the start of the new year. As a school, we are focusing on being kind, and the girls and teachers have been busy nominating others to be celebrated on our Tree of Kindness. On Friday, the girls took part in a Day of Prayer and Reflection, during which they visited the Prayer Room to explore a range of different prayer stations and spend some quiet time reflecting on their lives in the presence of God.
