Exploring the Jurassic Coast

15th May 19

Every summer term our year 5s have the opportunity to explore Swanage’s fascinating coastline. It’s a beautiful part of the country, and the girls always enjoy learning about the geography of the local environment.

There’s always plenty to see, from the natural limestone arch of Durdledoor, to the sheltered bay of Lulworth Cove.

“Dorset was an amazing experience for us year 5 girls especially because of all the famous natural landmarks. It was very educational but also tremendous fun. The activities filled our day and – most importantly – the food was delicious. The facilities at the centre were great and we all got chances to swim in the pool. There was nothing that let us down.” – Samara in Y5
