We were blessed with glorious sunshine and blue sky for the start of the new academic year, Autumn term 2018, on Thursday.
The girls had all grown over the summer break and were sporting even bigger smiles as they came happily through the gates exchanging stories of holiday adventures and fun. We welcomed our new cohort of Reception and Reception Parallel pupils, who seemed keen and ready to be a Holy Cross girl in their first Assembly and by break time. Our Year 6s were outwardly delighted to be in their new role as ‘big girls’ to them and ensured they were all getting along just fine…
We are delighted to see all the new pupils starting with us today throughout the school and hope you feel welcomed and ‘at home’ here, with us, very quickly. We would like to extend our greeting to all our returning pupils and their families and wish for a successful and blessed new academic year with many exciting opportunities and possibilities ahead of us all – pupils, staff and families together in our community.
Do keep an eye out on the website for our latest news, plus all the information you may need which can be accessed through our ‘Parents’ section. You should have received a detailed ‘Parents Calendar Autumn Term’ which has key dates and events for your diary; please do contact the school office if you did not, or have any other queries.
