The visiting instrumental teacher’s concerts continued this week with Mr and Mrs Taylor’s pupils performing their pieces in solos, duets and trios. They all played with great confidence. Well done to you all.
On Tuesday Mr Cattell’s piano pupils performed (except the Year 5 pupils who sadly did not arrive back to school in time after their trip) and it was a joy to see their progress.
The concerts were rounded off by Mr Slater’s pupils playing clarinets and saxophone and there was much very lovely sounding tone from the girls .
All the parents who came to the concerts seemed to enjoy hearing their daughters playing in a different context in a concert, and they were able to see their daughter’s progress.
Thank you to all the teachers, girls and parents for all your continued hard work and commitment to music in school.
