Sunday Times Prep School of the Year 2013-14

'Lights, Camel, Action!'

The entire group of pupils in Years 3 and 4 wowed us all last night as they sang and acted, danced, shimmied and swayed in their Christmas production of, ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’. It was a truly fabulous performance – definitely worthy of a 10 – as the Nativity story was retold with elements woven in from the unlikely, but entertaining aspect of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ which proved to be a real hit with a very appreciative audience. The ‘judges’ of the action and dancing were none other than Cesar, the inn-keepers wife and the donkey who took their parts with great enthusiasm. All the dancing was very competent and we also witnessed some very able singing; a fabulous effort girls, well done! We look forward to the Year 5s and 6s who take their turn on stage tonight in their Christmas production.
