    A packed Coombe Ridge Hall was treated to a very special 'Guest of Honour' at Prize Giving at the end of term...our very own Mrs Hayes!

    The final Saturday of term saw staff and pupils gathered at school in our splendid grounds to wish Mrs Hayes a fond farewell with a garden party organised by the FOHC.

    The end of the school academic year heralds a chance for celebrating many successes and glorious achievements. Junior Price Giving is the 'red carpet' event of the year, but there is the equally wonderful, final House Winners Assembly of the year, and also the Holy Cross Badge Winners Assembly.

  • Y4's 'walk like an Egyptian...'!

    Just before we broke up both Year 4 classes enjoyed a themed 'Egyptian Day' dressing up and learning all about this Ancient culture. The girls wrote in hieroglyphics and enjoyed fruit snacks at break - just like the Ancient Egyptians would have done. Some Egyptian maths was completed and even a 'mummification' was carried out on some of the girls! Pretend of course...! Well done to Mrs Cubbitt, Mrs Collins and Mrs Whitfield - helped by Mrs Caple and Mrs Murphy - for extending the curriculum this way.
